Measuring Guide

It’s best to be measured wearing similar undergarments you will be wearing with your dress or outfit. For example, a bra with the same pushup cup.

  • Do not measure over other clothing, i.e., jumpers, trousers, etc.

  • Use ONLY a standard cloth measuring tape

  • Do not pull the tape tightly. It should be just tight enough to stay in place

  • Stand naturally, with your feet together and arms by your side

Your size will be determined by the bust, waist, and hip measurements.

HOW TO MEASURE:

Your size will be determined by the bust, waist, and hip measurements.

Bust: Measure across the back and the fullest part of your bust, not under the bust. Please note that this measurement is not equivalent to your bra size.

Natural Waist: Bend to one side to find the crease or natural waist. Measure across your narrowest part.

Hips: Standing with feet together, measure at the fullest part of your hips.

IMPORTANT for mermaid gowns: If your bottom or thighs are bigger than your hips, please provide this measurement instead.

Once you have taken your measurements, compare them to the Size Charts to determine the correct size. If you cannot match your exact measurements to all three measures indicated on the size chart, we suggest ordering according to your largest measurement.

Remember, bridal wear can be taken in (making smaller), but taking them out (making bigger) depends on the seam allowances which, in most cases, are very slim.
