The jewellery is gold-plated but it is not recommended you wear in chlorine or salt water. After wear dry thoroughly if needed and store in the canvas pouch you received on purchase so they can be worn again and again.
The veils will need a steam on your wedding day, this can easily be done with a steamer or even hang in the bathroom when you're having a shower - the steam from the shower can assist in the creases drop out.
